I have a controversial opinion…

….and it’s that I think this is one of the most insidious combinations that exist:

Talented Creative/Founder/Career Professional wanting to express their ideas to the world + Having a crippling fear of being seen and their work judged

I totally get it, it’s almost like you want to scream at the sky because in what world is it fair to have conflicting interests like this?

I’ve been right there with you and even my clients have mentioned to me that the fear of being judged on social media manifests as a physical weight in their chest keeping them from progressing.

But if I can attest to one thing, it’s that the greatest moments happen when we increase our surface area for luck and are seen for the gifts and talents that we have.

So the big question remains: How do we start to get rid of this resistance and fear of being judged on social media to move forward confidently?

The answers lie in our subconscious mind and the beliefs we have about this experience.

The good thing is that as humans we can reprogram our subconscious to identify the root cause of these problems, release them, and then be able to move forward confidently.


Here Are 3 Steps To Getting Over The Fear Of Being Judged On Social Media:


  1. Root Cause Excavation:

    The first step is diving deep and uncovering the first memory we associate with achieving the bigger vision we have for ourselves. Just notice if any similar sensations or emotions that you experienced in childhood present themselves. Even if it does feel insignificant, take note of it - it’s there for a reason!


  2. Digging Deeper:

    What is it that this memory/experience taught you about yourself?

    Oftentimes we can come to wild conclusions that are so far from the truth of who we are. Take a couple of moments over the next few days to observe what’s going on and your internal self-perception.

  3. Reaffirm Yourself:

    From these newfound limiting beliefs, we can take reclaim our internal narrative and dialogue by creating new, reaffirming positive affirmations. Use these for 30 days that help you reclaim your narrative.
